You...Thank you thank you thank you thank you! :)
You're sooo right! It's a pretty good average and I WILL achieve my goal by the end of the year.
Thank you for the reply! It's really made my day! You have no idea.
I'm going to try the all day fast one day soon for sure!
I LOVE IF!!!!!! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1657838080907922561.post-36995770034021605132010-05-03T22:03:57.391-07:002010-05-03T22:03:57.391-07:008 Lbs in a month and a half is very good! It is recommended to lose 1 Lb per week. If you lost 2 Lbs per week you would easily exceed your goal. I think if you aimed for 1.5 Lbs average per week that would be realistic and healthy and you should hit your goal by December.

That said, if you want to see better results you could try counting calories as well as following Fast 5. Find your daily calorie requirement here:

http://www.weightchart.com/calculate-bmi-bmr-waist-hip.aspx

Once you have that number, the higher number of the two is the one you want to use as it takes your activity level into account (this is the amount of calories your body needs each day to stay exactly the same) you then reduce that amount by 500 per day. That should put you in the right range to lose the maximum amount that is healthy for you.

Unfortunately the body has its own ideas about how and when it releases the weight and we can't really make it happen any faster than it wants to. Plus, once your body gets used to the new routine, you may hit plateaus along the way. Throwing in an all day fast once per week could help to keep the plateaus at bay...

Start by delaying your "break-fast" by a couple hours at a time until you feel comfortable skipping it all together. Just do one all day fast per week combined with the Fast 5 routine the rest of the week.

Good LUCK! Keep us posted! Congratulations on your engagement!Jennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15361549346366283322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1657838080907922561.post-47721290868087047722010-05-03T10:33:55.121-07:002010-05-03T10:33:55.121-07:00I follow all of your blogs and I love them! Sure, it's better than gaining weight (which is the road I've been on for many years)! I do enjoy IF and have seen a slight difference in the way I look.....but I want it to go FASTER!! I think that I'm not losing enough weight.
I have a goal of losing 50 pounds by the end of year (wedding Dec 31st) - is there anything I can do to help the weight fall off quicker?
I do think about an all day fast, but haven't yet been able to take the plunge! :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1657838080907922561.post-16663495079600484112010-05-02T09:01:04.200-07:002010-05-02T09:01:04.200-07:00Thank you so much! I am so...Thank you for your kind words (((hugs))). I am so proud of you and you have done far more for me than I for you. It gets hard the closer you get to goal and honestly, if it wasn't for you, I might have given up. Your posts and support kept me on track and reminded me about how far I had come. You look amazing!!! Girl, people aren't gonna be able to stand you the smaller you get, lol. You're one hot chica!! What's cool is how Angela inspired me and I inspired you and now you're inspiring others too!!! I think we are the poster girls for intermittent fasting.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1657838080907922561.post-41195592994250356272010-05-01T13:18:32.982-07:002010-05-01T13:18:32.982-07:00"I looked forward to my fasting state, felt a..."I looked forward to my fasting state, felt a surplus of energy and enjoyed each day much more than I had in a long, long time."

"I feel excited, I feel motivated, I feel energetic, I feel alert, and I FEEL FREE!"

"I really enjoy eating only in the middle of the day and having an empty stomach during sleep."

All these statements above that you have written I have expressed over and over these last three years of sacrificing two meals a day. The energy level is what astounds me, followed by going about my days without food constantly at the forefront!

I still remember the day that Paula learned about Fast 5. I think we had been sacrificing two meals a day for quite a few months together. Like you finding Paula, Paula found me and asked how I was able to release over 110 lbs. After sharing my story, together we would keep in touch on a daily basis and talk about our fasting, how we were doing, feeling etc. When she found out about Dr. Herring, we had laughed because like she stated "Ang, all along we thought we were the only one's doing this' lol.

My intermittent Fasting, like you know, is usually every single day. Some days of course isn't, but the majority is.

I'm right near the 'finish line' and I'm in awe.

I saw someone at Walmart today and he stated he didn't even know that it was me...The last time he say me I was 70 lbs heavier....

You look amazing. The transformation is just beautiful...what I love about this life style is not only the physical transformation but the inside..Not only have I got rid of a lot of weight baggage, but a lot of junk that I had carried around inside for most of my life.

Blessings..Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11857554289543670693noreply@blogger.com
