But I think now I will switch it up so that I eat lunch Mon-Thurs with an eating window of 12-5pm. Then on Friday, fast all day and wait until dinner with an eating window of 6-11. Then I can enjoy the wine and fun with no guilt. I will also have a late eating window on Saturdays. That will give me a 24 hour fast once per week (between Thursday at 5 and Friday at 6pm) and my regular 38-48 hour fast on Sundays.
Hopefully this will help with any "cheating" and help me get through Thursdays, which I was finding difficult as I used to do an all day fast on Thursdays as well.
This is yet another reason why I love intermittent fasting, the flexibility. I can switch from lunch to dinner and back again as I see fit. It really makes it easy to fit this into my lifestyle and make it work.
Still hovering around the 170 mark...hopefully this new schedule will push things in the right direction...

ReplyDeletejust found your blog and have been very inspired. Thanks! I've been Alternate DAy Fasting for 5 weeks now and was consitently losing 2 lbs a week, but my weight hasn't budged in 2 weeks now so I am thinking of trying the Fast-5 method. Keep the blogs coming!
